Heartless City

I'm now on episode 9 of this show and I can't seem to stop myself from watching. This drama is so good and it lives up to what I've read from the reviews so far. It's quite refreshing because it's been a long time since I watched this kind of series which gives me a one-of-a-kind treat. I don't know, it's totally different from Chuno which is understandable because it took me long to finish it; or from the other series that I've watched before, the feeling is just genuine. For this one, I just started 3 days ago and I'm already at episode 9 today. It's an EPIC feat considering that I still had class which lasted for 3 hours today, though I was already preparing myself to just stay at home and continue watching beforehand. Glad I fought the temptation because I came back really eager to watch. But first, I had to catch up with My Husband's Lover which is a total OT.

I made quite a few facial expressions today because of this drama, you should have witnessed that. And that's how good this is even though it's quite complicated to explain, perhaps because there are a lot of surprises and they are very keen to details. The storyline is not extraordinary but it's not ordinary either, however, the editing, cinematography, and the script are exceptional, not to mention they have recruited actors who are suited for the roles which are evidently well thought of. A lot of things could happen in just one episode and you wouldn't realize how much the time has passed from watching. I love this kind of series wherein you feel really productive in the end even though all you did was to watch. Haha! BINGO! <3

It's past 1AM now in my place. Goodnight.
